The Christopher Small Fonds
Small's bibliographic collection :
In 1997, Christopher Small donated his bibliographical
bottom to the Library of the Universitat de Girona. The collection is of
special importance by its quality, whereas unique by its thematic one in
the context of the university libraries of our country. Most of the five
hundred volumes that integrate it center in the study of music and among
them they emphasize books on etnomusicología, musical sociology and pop
music - specially the Afro-American one: jazz, blues, soul… -.

music. In 1961 he moved to London to continue his composition studies.
He has taught music to students of all
